Experience a full-day journey along Sri Lanka’s beautiful south coast, blending nature, culture, and heritage. Starting with a scenic boat safari through the mangroves of Madu River Lagoon, you’ll explore cinnamon islands, observe wildlife, and witness local village life. Visit a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda to learn about sea turtle conservation and see baby turtles, with the chance to release them during the season.

Discover Sri Lanka’s gemstone heritage at the Meetiyagoda Moonstone Mine, watch skilled miners and craftsmen in action, then enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch. Walk through a Spice & Herbal Garden to uncover the secrets of local Ayurvedic plants and remedies, followed by a cultural visit to the Mask Museum in Ambalangoda showcasing traditional mask-making arts.

End the day with a reflective visit to the Tsunami Museum in Peraliya, learning about the 2004 tsunami’s impact and community resilience before returning to Hikkaduwa.
